AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL PARK - COLORADO SPRINGS

The Walk to Cure Diabetes in Colorado Springs will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at America the Beautiful Park. Approximately 2,500 individuals representing corporate and family teams will walk, raising over $300,000. Registration begins at 9 am, followed by entertainment that is sure to rock!  The 5k walk will begin at 10 am and will be followed by a free, delicious lunch.

PARTICIPATING IS EASY!

First, visit walk.jdrf.org to register your team. Then, use Walk Central to recruit co-workers, family members and friends to join your team, ask for donations via email, and manage your team members. On walk day, just show up and have fun! Walkers who raise $100 will receive an official JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes t-shirt.

Walkers who raise $150 or more will get a free ticket to Elich Gardens!

Our 2009 Walk to Cure Diabetes was a HUGE success! Over 2000 individuals walked in Colorado Springs and Durango. With a number of sneaker campaigns and third party fundraisers, we are well on our way to reaching $250,000 in revenue! Thank you to our sponsors, event day volunteers, committee members and most importantly all of you who raised funds and walked. Your support brings us one step closer to a cure!
